SOUTH HILLS TORAH WEEKEND, 2015

I was asked by Temple Emanuel and The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh to design something for their South Hills Torah Weekend event. The lecture series topic was "Jewish Views on Slavery" therefore I wanted to incorporate a font and design a graphic that would represent the weekend's theme accurately.

To implement the message, I created an illustrated fist holding chains and used a strong, bold font for the event title. The pairing of these two elements are reminiscent of the graphic work of classic protest ads and posters that focus on social and political woes throughout history.
